The first filter, PL051, is a pleated sediment filter which is washable/reusable. This means you don’t have to replace it every service. The second filter, MC011-S is a 1-micron filter designed to remove the taste and odour of chlorine as well as any other bad tastes/odours. It is also silver impregnated which prevents any bacterial growth within the filter system.
